Offer of Admission
Upon successful admission to the institution, parents will receive an offer of admission. If all required documents – as outlined below – are returned by the specified date indicated on the offer of admission, the child will be enrolled in the program:
- Signed Confirmation of Enrollment form
- Payment of the enrollment deposit, applied towards the annual tuition fee
- Permission, Acknowledgments and Release of Information forms If the above documents are not received by the date indicated on the offer of admission, the spot shall be made available to other applicants. Please note that under no circumstance will we admit a student to a class of which full student capacity has been reached. In the event that we are unable to offer your child admission, it is our practice to keep your application on the waitlist for one year, unless requested otherwise.
Re-Admission of Students who left the institution Under Special Circumstances
A student who left institution under special circumstances such as but not limited to expulsion, poor disciplinary record, or poor academic record, may not automatically be registered at a later date. The student must go through the necessary steps for admission as indicated above (interview, assessment, and a review of their previous school record). Students placed on academic or behavioral probation may be asked to leave at any time during the school year in which they were given probation.
Registration Requirements
When considering all applicants, we take into account both the suitability of our educational program for the prospective student and the availability of places within the school.
The following are the requirements of registering your child upon acceptance at our school:
PROOF OF AGE: The parents of all children entering KG are requested to provide the proof that their children are 3 plus or older on or before December 31st of the enrolment year.
BIRTH CERTIFICATES: Students must show a copy of their birth certificate or any other official document showing their dates of birth.
REGISTRATION FORM: To complete the process, a registration form must be filled out and signed by a parent or legal guardian.
Admission Process
The admissions process involves these six steps:
Submit a completed application form
The first step in the admissions process is the submission of a completed application form by the parent(s)/guardian(s) when it opens up each year. Your application will then be put on our waiting list for the grade applied.
CIIE Contacts You
Once a student is selected by sequence from the wait list, CIIE contacts the parent(s)/guardian(s) to come to the school and submit all required documents for admission.
Assessment Process and Interviewing
Placement testing may be arranged depending on submitted documents, grade level and language proficiency. An interview with the child and parents are also conducted.
Application review
Once all records have been collected, the Principal, Operations Manager, and other administrative personnel will review the application. Admission may be granted, denied or the School may place the student back on the waiting list for future consideration. In all cases, the parent(s)/guardian(s) will be notified.
Letter of Offer
If admission is granted, parent(s)/guardian(s) will be sent a letter of offer by the school personnel with a deadline to submit confirmation of enrollment. This form must be signed by all respective parent(s)/guardian(s) and returned to the school with the enrollment deposit and other supporting documents
School Registration Form & Payment
The school registration form is given and pre-authorized payment details are given to the school for the monthly tuition amount. All remaining supporting documents are submitted at this time.
